On their second one-sider for Prison Tatt, Sesso Violento continue to be the enigmatic, sympathetic, misogynistic, laughing-at-themselves raw-and-dirty black metalers as always. With each progressive release, they do more and more of their own thing, pressing their luck, whilst still delivering their flooring minimal-black-metal hooks, with only an odd collage-de-noise, and despairing acoustic guitar touching down for a moment here and there. Sesso Violento are unique in that they potentially torch across a great many time stones, with a definite, Napalm/Scum vibe, mid-80s Euro thrash, and a contemporary, inward-looking black-metal feel, along the lines of bands like Bone Awl and Cirrhus.
